My boys are 12 and 15. Some people say they are now too old to go trick-or-treating, even if they want to. Personally, I’d be just fine if they want to go out again this year. I’ll gladly buy costumes (that will sit in my storage room for years to come) and let them go out after dinner. Our neighborhood shuts down early and they are usually home before 10 p.m. But just in case they decide this year that they are too old for trick-or-treating, I’ve made a list of other things they can do to get in the festive mood.
