Hey, Idaho Falls, come try something new this holiday season as owners of historic homes open their doors for a fantastic cause! This newly curated tour includes twelve historic homes decked out in their holiday best.

Now, please keep in mind that all owners have different holiday style and taste. You may find some homes that are oozing out Christmas cheer while others have a more simplistic, calming approach. As I am one of the homeowners that will be participating in the tour, I’d also like to remind those that there are all walks of life in this event. There are some established families who have lived in these gorgeous homes for years and have many projects crossed off their lists while there are others that are newer homeowners who are getting a start on making their historic home theirs.

Nonetheless, please come visit us and say hello! We would love to be a part of your holiday season. historic homes for the holidays

Jordan Heinze
Jordan has lived most of her 25 years in Idaho Falls. She’s married to her husband, Tim, a California native who she magically talked into moving and living here in Idaho Falls. They ’ve been married for over six years and have two small girls, Dottie and Pippa. They also have four cats. Talk about crazy cat lady! Their first home, a 1930’s historic colonial, came into the picture a few years ago is where she enjoys dreaming up projects for her husband to make a reality. For as long as she can remember she’s enjoyed being creative. Baking, painting, writing, decorating, you name it. Her creativity pushed her into aesthetics school shortly after graduating from IFHS where she completed Utah’s Master Aesthetic program. Besides treating congested pores, She has really focused on chemical peels, microneedling, microblading, eyelash extensions, and waxing. She worked full time as a Master Aesthetician for 8 years before leaving her last medical aesthetics position to be home with her family more. Because she absolutely loves what she does, she continues to work part-time running her own aesthetic business. Besides being a mama and working, she loves eating food. You may spot her family out at the Snakebite because it is a favorite of theirs and they can never get enough! Or if you see her with her head down exiting The Cookie Place, don’t tell her husband! She’s not sharing! She also loves baking. Lately, layered cakes have been her jam.
