Picking out Christmas gifts for my coworkers is one of my favorite holiday to-dos. Most of the time I get everyone the same thing, and I try to purchase something useful that doesn’t empty the bank.

Baked goods are popular in our office. My team does not have any food allergies so this is a safe and popular choice – cinnamon rolls and loaves of bread and jam are some of our favorites. Here are a few other suggestions for coworker gifts that are easy and not very expensive:

  • Local honey (flavored honey is even better!)
  • Small gift cards to local fast food places or local food trucks. One year I gave keychains from Wendy’s that can be used for a free small frosty every time you buy a meal or sandwich. My colleagues loved them and the proceeds go to the Dave Thomas Foundation.
  • Gift cards to a favorite coffee or drink shop
  • Car air fresheners
  • Hair ties for coworkers with longer hair (these things get lost like crazy and are much appreciated)
  • Package of their favorite candy
  • RFID credit card sleeves (you can buy a pack on Amazon for a great deal, plus they come with 3 passport sleeves)
  • Credit card sized “tool kit”
  • Eyeglass tool kit for those that wear glasses
  • Lens cleaning cloth for anything from eyeglasses to any screen
  • Hand lotion (the tough stuff for dry cracked skin)

What are some of your favorite coworker gifts?
